To first understand why cleansing is important for health, we must first know what it does. Cleansing is the process of taking poison from your liver, kidneys, and bowel, and creating a healthy body that can fight disease and illness. In more specific terms, cleansing is about balancing the body and restoring the body’s proper pH balance and digestive health which has been altered by the typical Westerner’s diet that is pack full of refined foods, preservatives, additives, added sugars, hormones, and overall bad for your health. Cleansing may sound like a terrible experience that discomforts you, but the health advantages far outweigh any potential drawbacks.
Although not the primary purpose of detoxification, it’s also helpful for losing weight. The body stores toxins in fat cells. When you cleanse the body these toxins are more easily removed from their fat stores.
A very effective method of cleaning the body is juice fasting which is similar to water fasting, but it is preferred or practiced by many holistic health practitioners, because of the health benefits that juicing provides.
During a juice fast, you must abstain from taking anything other than pure juice. While juice fasting, there are some procedures to follow. Get rest frequently, take juice at regular intervals, don’t have any other food more than juice, Add citrus juices like lemon, lime, pineapple, orange, grapefruit since the citric acids help your body to absorb all of the iron.
Having lot of juice is not only good for cleansing but for every day healthy eating. It also makes your body clean and refreshed. Make raw foods and juice the foundation of what you eat for breakfast and lunch, followed by new healthy meals for dinner, including protein such as salmon or chicken with steamed vegetables.
And if you are worried about being hungry in between meals, eat whole grains, nuts, seeds, and carrot sticks rather than refined and processed foods with chemicals and artificial nutrition. A cleansing diet is much better for you and makes you healthy instead of lending to the breadth of your waist.
A cleanse is not only cleaning the vital organs in the body, but the by-product also increases to improve your overall health. After a good cleansing, you will have more energy, better sleep habits, and you can expect your overall health to vastly improve.
Though the process of cleansing your body at least once each year is good for your health, it is better to put safety first. Make sure the cleanse uses only safe ingredients. A holistic approach to cleansing recognizes that the foods you put in your body make all the difference when it comes to your overall health and well-being.
